What your day looks like

In this role you will work with businesses of different sizes, in various industries as part of their accounts team, ensuring that their accounts in Xero are kept up to date day-to-day. As you get to know each business, you can apply your understanding of their numbers to highlight insights to help the business owners

Prepare accounts in Xero

Work directly with multiple businesses to reconcile accounts, enter bills and receipts, schedule and process supplier payments

Australian compliance

Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS), Superannuation Guarantee Charge statements, and reconcile balance sheets including inter-company assets and loans

Reporting and apps

Review accounts to assess business performance, prepare management reports, and work with connected apps such as Dext, Fathom, and many more

What you bring

  • 3-5 years experience as a qualified accountant, ideally with BPO experience
  • experience with Australian businesses
  • experience using Xero or MYOB
