What this covers

Late BAS lodgement

If we miss your BAS deadline and the ATO issues a Failure to Lodge penalty, we cover the penalty amount and lodge the BAS immediately at no additional charge

Late super payments

If we fail to process your super on time and the ATO applies a Super Guarantee Charge, we cover the administration fees and nominal interest component

Remediation work

Beyond covering the fine itself, we fix whatever went wrong - lodging corrected statements, communicating with the ATO, or applying for penalty remission

Simple and transparent

If a penalty is issued and you believe it was caused by something on our end, let us know. We review the timeline of events, confirm whether the delay was within our control, and if it was - we cover it. No arguments, no small print

We also work with the ATO to seek penalty remission on your behalf. As a registered BAS agent, we can apply for safe harbour provisions and lodge remission requests directly - something most business owners do not know is available to them

This is not a reckless promise. Every client has a dedicated team, not a single point of failure. Our internal systems track every BAS deadline, every payroll run, and every super payment date. We use automated reminders, peer review processes, and team leader sign-off before anything is lodged. When you have the right systems and the right people, deadlines do not get missed

The fine print

What we need from you -

  • be on our managed bookkeeping or managed payroll service (not one-off project work, catch-up bookkeeping, or advisory-only)
  • send documents and approvals on time - we cannot lodge what we do not have
  • provide accurate information - if a penalty arises from incomplete or incorrect data, it sits outside this guarantee

What this doesn't cover -

  • your underlying tax or super obligations - we cover penalties for late lodgement, not the tax itself
  • General Interest Charge on unpaid amounts - if your BAS payment is late because you did not have funds, the GIC is not covered
  • penalties inherited from before our engagement
