Digit is an outsourced bookkeeping, payroll and business advisory firm for Australian businesses, headquartered in Perth, Western Australia. We are a registered BAS agent, a Xero Platinum Partner and a certified B Corp.

Digit was founded on 1 July 2013 by Andrew Erkins and Leah Moore. We built the business around Xero from day one and have grown into a team of 30+ accountants, BAS agents, payroll specialists and technologists across Australia and the Philippines.

Digit is the trading name of Digit Books Pty Ltd, also known as Digit Business and digit.business.

Leadership

The people leading Digit

Andrew Erkins, Founder & CEO, founded Digit in 2013 after building a cloud accounting platform for the commercial real estate sector. He leads Digit's strategy, technology and AI adoption, and is featured in Xero's 2026 Modern Practice Playbook.

Leah Moore, Founder & Managing Partner, founded Digit with Andrew and leads client service delivery. A problem solver who takes a tangled workflow apart and rebuilds it without the unnecessary steps, she was named Australian Bookkeeper of the Year in 2016.
