Our core values

The filter for how we choose to live and work

Our values are our northstar. They're the filter for how we choose to live and work together - with each other, with our clients, and with the broader community. They're not a poster on the wall

Lead.

Take ownership. Challenge assumptions. Trust your gut. Stand up. Go above what is asked. Be brilliant. Be intentional. Teach others. Raise the bar. Take responsibility. Be ethical. Be the best version of you. Empower others to achieve it too. Be unexpectedly awesome

In practice: our team members flag issues before clients notice them. If something looks wrong in a file, we don't wait to be asked - we raise it, explain it, and fix it. That's what Lead looks like on a Tuesday afternoon

Forward.

Forward moving, Forward thinking. Be progressive in everything we do. Be proactive. A step ahead. Be innovative and explore new solutions to old problems. Continuously improve. Reinvent. Learn. Adapt. Embrace change. Accept feedback. Think laterally. Communicate early. Build towards the future we want to create

In practice: we adopted AI categorisation and automated reconciliation tools early - not because they were trendy, but because they freed our people to do the work that actually matters. Better practices over best practices

Together.

Work together as equals. Collaborate. Celebrate the human. Be authentic. Be family. Have empathy for everyone we touch. Consciously communicate. No politics. No ego. No bullshit. A genuine desire to raise others. Be open. Celebrate wins. Have fun. Have heart. Create a genuine experience

In practice: our Manila team works directly with clients as equals, not through layers of management. Same Slack channels, same client meetings, same accountability. Together means together - regardless of geography

BCorp certified

In November 2022, Digit became a certified BCorp. It's an independent assessment across five impact areas - workers, customers, governance, environment, and community. You have to prove that how you operate matches what you claim to stand for

For us, it was a way of putting our values under a microscope. Not because we had to, but because we wanted the rigour. We wanted to know where we were strong and where we needed to do better

It also means we're part of a global community of businesses committed to the same thing - using business as a force for good, not just profit
