Gaycel Cajayon
Team Leader
Gaycel wanted to be a flight stewardess. Her family talked her out of it, so she picked whatever her sister was studying. Accountancy. She never regretted it. A CPA, a BAS Agent, and a graduate of the University of Santo Tomas, she grew to love helping people get their books right - the balance between routine work and the curveball that keeps things interesting. At Digit she leads, teaches, and makes sure new team members learn the right way from day one. She's the one people come to with the logical questions - how do you do this in Xero, what's the right approach here. She keeps client accounts updated, thinks ahead about what they'll need, and prepares it before they ask
Introvert with a dead phone battery for a social life - her Samsung S4 analogy, not ours. Gaycel is invisible online, a silent reader of group chats, but when it matters and someone needs help, she's there. No questions. She reads manga - currently deep into "I'll be the Matriarch in This Life" - and has a knee injury from a high school cheerleading competition that still makes her flinch when anyone gets too close. She's a mum to a beautiful daughter, dreams of seeing the cherry blossoms in Japan and visiting Italy where her parents spent their working years. Her friends know they can lean on her. That's never changed
