Mark Salvacion - Technical Team Lead at Digit

Mark Salvacion

Technical Team Lead

Philippine CPA. US Certified Management Accountant. MBA. Most people collect qualifications to pad a resume - Mark collected his because he's genuinely obsessed with how money moves through a business. Budgets, efficiency, cash flow projections - management accounting hooked him because it felt like having control of the levers. At Digit he leads a team and treats every client placed in his care like it's his own firm. No half measures. He builds personalised management reports, analyses financial statements, and creates Excel mapping that turns messy data into clear decisions. The team leader part came naturally - he shares what he knows, listens more than he talks, and believes ownership and accountability aren't things you talk about, they're things people see you do

His best man described him as faithful and responsible. Mark describes himself as someone who gives it his best shot and isn't afraid to miss and shoot again. Off the clock he's deep into behavioural finance and self-help books, budgets his personal finances with the same discipline he brings to client work, and plays video games on dedicated game nights. He exercises regularly, makes a wicked cup of coffee (his claim, unverified), and owns a teddy bear like Mr. Bean's (that's two Digit team members now - draw your own conclusions). The five-year plan is more reporting, more planning, more training - and probably remembering his LinkedIn password
