The financial side was a mess. There was people ringing all the time saying this hasn't been paid, that's not up to date. The reconciliations were getting done once every two to three months, so I had no idea of how my business is performing. And it was a risk that I was not willing to carry. The breath of fresh air for us is actually having Digit. The finance side just needs to be something that happens. But you want to do that with someone that you know and trust, and we were able to, I guess, get that trust really quickly.

Now, everything's up to date, everything's checked. They will throw bodies at the problem until it's solved. I can have a crazy CEO idea, and then it comes back solved. It's probably the best decision we've made as far as delegating a role that we're not good at. The thing that jumped out was the sort of systems thinking and the tech side of it. It's how do we look at all our systems across the business and integrate those to give me the insights I need to make better decisions. When you need answers, you get them very, very quickly.

The service is impeccable. If you're in the market for a bookkeeper, I'd recommend Digit. I don't have to go chasing for answers. I would have done this a long time ago.
