Andrew Erkins
Founder & CEO
When Andrew was six, his dad brought home a computer, and it changed everything. A business degree from Curtin, a career building tech businesses, and then finding home in the accounting industry. Andrew sees complex systems clearly and has a gift for explaining them in a way that lands. How data flows, how apps connect, how the right architecture turns noise into decisions. But the systems thinking is only half of it. He's deeply curious about people - how they think, make decisions, and what they need to do their best work. That curiosity shaped Digit. A place where good people do good work, and mastery is nurtured
He grew up in the red dirt of the Pilbara and has been in Perth for most of his life - long enough to call it home, not so long that he takes the coastline for granted. He's goofy enough to serenade his dog with spontaneous song, while quietly philosophical about the small moments. Last year he hiked the Bibbulmun Track - all 1,000 kilometres - during winter, carrying a backpack he made. He loves cooking, and makes a killer red duck curry from scratch. That's the thread really. Businesses, food, backpacks - Andrew wants to understand how things work and builds them with his own hands
